Or you could manage cookies. Or, you could simply use Tools > Options > Privacy in Firefox and set exceptions for specific sites.
OR use G-Zapper (Google)
Lifehacker published a VBScript http://lifehacker.com/assets/resources/2006/08/StopGoogle.vbscookies with "Google" in the name.
An easier method may be the CookieCuller Firefox extension, which protects and unprotects specific cookies.
A search will probably turn up many more.
